* The story was - by Western - Not credited as Barks put it in his work sheet, but he booked the pay himself. Western finally paid on February 28, 1957.
** From this date on Western makes multiple coding mistakes (mostly typos) in Barks' payslips. For example, these entries were booked as U$10 and DD54. Furthermore, both front covers and 1-pagers are frequently referred to as Covers.

Note 1: The 10-pager planned for WDCS196 and known as Bob Sled Race was refused publishing by Western, but Barks still received $375.00 for it on December 15, 1955. The story was never published.
Note 2: The 1-pager planned for U$19 and known as Bridle Gag (Barks' ID: Bridle) was refused publishing by Western, but Barks still received $46.00 for it on February 28, 1957. The amount (for art only) implies that Barks did not come up with the idea. The page has since been published.
Note 3: Western paid $3.75 on March 21 for Cover #4 Uncle Scrooge, which Barks simply booked as Redraw lost panel. Evidently, this is a mentioning of a panel from a 1-pager, but which one is not clear.
