MARCO ROTA
Marco Rota was born in
Italy in 1942. He received some art education in his
youth. Rota only does the artwork for his duck stories; he does
not write the scripts. Rota - who also draws Mickey Mouse stories
- has a special way of drawing Donald Duck; he tilts Donald's cap
to the side of his head unlike other artists.
Rota is fond of small details. If he draws a skyscraper he usually shows all
the windows. He also likes to place different sorts of gimmicks
in his panels such as small birds with sailor caps, aeroplanes
from the company MR (Marco Rota), and posters signed Marks (Marco
and Barks). No doubt, Barks is his role model.
