For several years many artists have tried to produce oil paintings with reference to - and in the same style as - Carl Barks' eminent Disney duck paintings. Several opportunistic artists have come and gone, while a few have had a more serious approach to the task. And they are still working in the unique Barks style, often using scenes from his stories.

As you know, an electronic medium such as the Internet does not provide the best reproduction possibilities as for details and colour, but the examples do give you a fair view of the amount of work that has gone into each painting and of the involved artists' dedication.
