These concept ideas - there are three with similar plot lines on the two sheets - were probably scheduled for 4-pagers. Barks even found room to sketch three ladies, who have absolute no bearing on any of the plots...

Idea 1: Gyro envies great artists and invents special slippers that makes him a fine dancer, gloves which make him a great pianist and a masterful violinist, but audiences boo him off the stage.
Idea 2: Gyro envies great artists and invents special slippers that makes him a fine dancer, and his enthusiastic audience demands that he dances until he collapses. After that he is glad to return to inventing.
Idea 3: Gyro invents special gloves that make him an expert as a pianist and a painter. He then mounts different gloves on sticks so that they - all by themselves - can deal with chores such as painting, baking, and letter-writing. Gyro goes to sleep and when he wakes up his house is filled with paintings, cakes, and letters.
