Brief synopsis:
Huey, Dewey, and Louie are trick or treating on Halloween; Donald however is grumpy and humiliates the boys with firecrackers and water when they come to his doorstep. Hazel the witch witnesses the boys' plight with Donald and takes pity on the nephews. With her help they make this a Halloween that Donald never forgets.

Direction:
Jack Hannah. Directed numerous Disney shorts throughout the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Some of the first he made in collaboration with Barks with whom he had also worked as an animator in the years before he became a regular director.

Animation:
Don Lusk (the ducks). Worked on numerous feature films such as Bambi as an animator, and Lady and the Tramp as a character animator.
Bill Justice (the witch). Worked on numerous feature films such as Fantasia as an animator, and Alice in Wonderland as a character animator.

Animation assistants:
Volus C. Jones. Worked on numerous Disney shorts such as Clown of the Jungle, Lion Around, and Pluto's Christmas Tree.
George Kreisl. Worked on numerous Disney shorts such as Bee on Guard, Out on a Limb, and Pluto's Christmas Tree.

Effects animation:
Dan MacManus. Made the visual effects for many Disney shorts such as Lambert the Sheepish Lion, and feature films such as The Jungle Book.

Story:
Ralph Wright. Worked as a storyman on many Disney shorts such as Lambert the Sheepish Lion, feature films such as Lady and the Tramp, and nature films such as Perri.

Layout and background:
Yale Gracey. Worked on several Disney shorts such as Clown of the Jungle, Lambert the Sheepish Lion, and Pluto's Christmas Tree.

Music:
Paul J. Smith. Worked on several Disney feature films such as Saludos Amigos, Song of the South, and Cinderella.

Voices:
June Foray. The voice of Hazel the witch. She voiced numerous characters for several companies (mostly portraying old women) starting in 1943, and she is still active.
Clarence Nash. The voice of Donald Duck and the nephews. He voiced Disney's duck characters starting in 1934 and made his last 'appearance' as late as in 1983.

Songs:
Thurl Ravenscroft. Sang the lyrics with his group The Mellomen. Usually uncredited but has sung in many feature films such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Cinderella.
