PAUL MURRY

1911-1989

Murry is best known for his stories starring Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto, but in fact he drew almost all of the Disney comic book characters. At the end of his career he was able to look back on an impressive production of several thousand pages which were all made in a special appealing, rounded style with thick pen strokes. Murry always drew his pages from a manuscript; he never once wrote a story himself.
