From time to time Carl Barks constructed stories, in which his primary characters (foremost Donald Duck) were called upon to use another name other than their own. The reasons would vary; sometimes a character needed to get out of an embarrassing situation, played a specific role, or was set on fooling somebody. An invented alias did not necessarily also require a disguise, but it always incorporated some sort of a name change. This page focusses on examples from this second group, whereas ordinary - and often nameless - examples from the first group can be enjoyed HERE).
