Carl Barks took his ducks to a great number of historic and world-famous places - manmade constructions as well as natural formations - during the years. Many of them will be instantly recognized by the reader, while others are more difficult to 'decode': Niagara Falls is a well-known site, and few will have trouble with Barks' version of the mysterious Scottish lake Loch Less. But to identify Chiliburgeria as the French Riviera will perhaps require a little more skill.

On this page we only present you with sights that kept their original names in the stories and/or were drawn in a fairly naturalistic way. So sit back and enjoy a free first-class trip around the world...
