When reading through Barks' comic book stories one frequently comes across panels filling half a page. They are always masterfully crafted and show that Barks really liked that sort of expression, although he had to restrict himself, as he had only a limited number of pages in which to tell his story. Later in life Barks went on to dedicate his skills to pictures of an even greater magnitude - he took up painting. But this page deals solely with a few of his many wonderful panels which always have made a great impression on his audience.
The examples have been roughly divided into five main groups in order to reduce the loading time as they all deserve to be reproduced in a reasonable size.
