This is a page about fluids in Carl Barks' comic book stories. Now, how does one define a fluid? Even the term itself is fairly fluent and can be interpreted in a number of ways according to one's own views. Not even a dictionary offers a sharp definition: A fluid is a continuous, amorphous substance whose molecules move freely past one another and that has the tendency to assume the shape of its container.
The distinction is somewhat vague
and the examples on these pages should also be perceived as
partly vague as well. Although the examples are plentiful enough
to fill three sub-pages (in no special order) you should be aware
that they only represent a fraction of all the fluids that Barks
wrote about - with a special emphasis on his own fabrications. You
will only find one example of each type and you will only find a
handful of Gyro Gearloose's numerous liquid inventions.
Still, there are plenty to browse through...
