One of mankind's exciting pastimes is the act of betting. We all get into competitive situations once in a while or we suddenly find ourselves in a situation where a wager is called for. This is also true in Carl Barks' stories where all sorts of dares frequently occur. This is only normal in a funny animal comic book, although money transactions are rarely involved.
Bets can be made in numerous different ways and under very different conditions. Below you will find 10 diverse categories - one example from each - but several other of Barks' stories could be placed in the same categories.
