Barney wants to be a real cowboy in order to impress Benny, and he starts off by trying to catch the first wild horse of his life. It does not take long for the horse to catch Barney, though!

Barney takes Benny out in the woods for a moose hunt but tracking and subduing one is not all that easy. In fact, the animal ends up disposing of the hunters and commandeering their car!

Barney wakes up with a terrible headache and Benny tries his best to be quiet around him. Unfortunately, his many unsuccessful attempts result in Barney getting much worse!

Barney yearns to be a bullfighting matador and he goes out into the country to find a complying bull. But he soon realizes that an angry bull is not a thing to be toying with!

Mooseface McElk is jealous of Barney's neat garden so he tricks him into wrecking it. Then Benny tricks the bad neighbour into wrecking his own garden. Result: Two properties completely destroyed.

Shepherd Barney is missing a sheep and he decides to set a trap for suspect number one, a ferocious wolf. Benny acts as bait in sheep's clothing, but he is soon trapped and captured!

Barney goes hunting with his old gun but Benny persuades him to use a bow and arrow instead as it will be much safer. Trouble is that Barney is not exactly an archery marksman...

Barney reads a medical book and he instantly feels deadly ill. Benny acts as the good Samaritan until he sees through the hypochondriac's charade. Then Benny becomes sick - for real...

Barney is hungry so he has to get a job. Benny suggests that he tries the dog catching business. How difficult can it be? Well, Barney quickly realizes that he is not cut out for this kind of business...

Barney takes Benny fishing in the lake. Benny catches fish but Barney only catches a lot of bad luck involving a hungry pelican, an uncooperative fish, a big firecracker, an unwelcome game warden - and an utterly uncooperative fish...

Uncle Grizzly is rich so Barney decides to butter up the grumpy relative and invites him to stay at his house for a while. During the stay Barney tries to rescue his uncle from several dangers, but he fails every time...

Barney likes honey from the wild bees but they live in cougar country. So he gets Benny to help him in getting rid of the bloodthirsty beasts. But the two friends wind up in a cage with two ferocious cougars - and about a million stinging bees!
