Disney's Donald Duck has always been the most widely known and most popular duck character in the comic books, and Carl Barks was one of the chief artists responsible for his tremendous success. Donald's unparallelled career in the panels has through the years led to many attempts of creating another duck character to match Donald's success, and this page will present you to a few of these characters. As you will see some of the characters might best be characterized as copycats (and they did not last long), while others were created by serious artists who made their own version of a duck character (and they lasted the longest).
